Spanish Team Kawasaki Go Eleven rider reviews start to the season

Roman Ramos (Team Kawasaki Go Eleven) heads into his third full season in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, and with a best finish of ninth so far in 2017 he hopes to make some big improvements ahead of the European chunk of the season.

Setting himself a top ten goal for the season, he admits it will be a tough ask with the gap to the front runners being so high. Despite this he is not one to be downbeat as he notes the improvements he is set to make ahead of the fourth Round of the season, at the TT Circuit Assen.

Expressing his desires for the season, the 26 year old explains: “My goal is to always be in the top ten, we know that will be difficult but can try to achieve it. Riding my bike is nice and it works well, we just know the level this year is too high. But we will try our best to be in the top ten in all the races, even though we know that is difficult.”

Understanding what he needs to do to reach his goals, he continues: “The engine doesn’t have a lot of power but that’s how it is, we know that is the bike and we need to improve on this. I am very happy to be here with this bike and we will try to make it into the top ten in all races.”

“I will try to beat the riders in front of us;” adds Ramos, “However it is difficult because the level this year is too high. The other riders are so fast this year but I hope to be in front of them as much as possible, even though this will be difficult.”
